Susan Stevens Crummel & Janet Stevens  Bluebonnet winners, authors and sisters.  Susan Stevens Crummel is the author of several childrens books.   Cook-a-Doodle-Doo! Won the Texas Bluebonnet award, ABA Pick of the Lists, NY Public Librarys 100 Books.  Janet Stevens is an ward-winning author and illustrator is also the author/illustrator of many fine books, including Tops and Bottoms.  She is an acclaimed illustrator of numerous books, such as To Market, To Market, Epossumondas and more.

Tracy Schoenle  Associate Editor for Cricket, Cicada and Cricket Books, has been with Critcket Magazine Group since March 1998.  She seeks nonfiction and realistic fiction for Cicada.  Prior to working at CMG, she taught composition at Mount St. Clare College in Clinton, Iowa, and worked as a volunteer for Iowa Heritage Illustrated

 Andrea Cascardi - Agent representing writers and Illustrators. Consulting editor/childrens and young adult publishing, who will also critique art. Twenty-plus years of experience as an editor/publisher of children's and young adult books with major houses such as Houghton Mifflin, Hyperion, and Knopf.

Alexandra Cooper  Assistant editor at Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers. Originally from Minnesota, Alexandra Cooper has been working in children's books for three years.  After graduating from Brandeis University in Boston as an honors English major, she accepted an editorial assistant position at Little Simon, the novelty imprint of the Simon & Schuster Children's Division.  In 2003, she made the transition from pop-up and licensed books to hardcover trade picture books and young adult novels by joining Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers.  Currently, Alexandra works with David Gale, editing such books as Giggle, Giggle, Quack; Gingerbread; Hard Love; and What My Mother Doesn't Know.  She is interested in picture books and contemporary novels, particularly comedies and those with strong female protagonists.

Diane Muldrow - Diane Muldrow is the Editorial Director of Little Golden Books

and several other Golden Book lines. She started her career at Golden Books,

where she worked for several years before moving to Scholastic (Cartwheel Books).

She returned to Golden Books in 1999. She has written nearly one hundred books

for children: original picture books, nonfiction, religious, licensed, and series fiction.

Robyn Connely Weaver - Book Doctor [editorial assistance]- has written several books for children and young adults, including the only authorized biography of John Grisham.  Her titles include, The Motion Picture and the The Automobile for Scholastic and What Really Matter to Me: A Guided Journal.  Be Your Own Book Doctor gives writers a personal seminar about how to write, edit, and sell well, no matter what type of writing they prefer.
